Campus Resources

Campus Learning Assistance Services (CLAS) offers the following services for students:

  • Study Skills Specialist Appointment – see Study Skills Specialist Appointment Hours at clas.ucsb.edu for schedules. Students can make an appointment by coming by SRB 3240 or by visiting my.ucsb.edu/clas.
  • ESL Specialist – see ESL Specialist Appointment Hours at clas.ucsb.edu for schedules. Students can make an appointment by coming by SRB 3240 or by visiting my.ucsb.edu/clas.
  • Individual Study Skills Coaching – Study Skills Specialist Appointment Hours at clas.ucsb.edu for schedules. Students can make an appointment by coming by SRB 3240 or by visiting my.ucsb.edu/clas.
  • Writing Tutorials – Student Resources Building, room 3231, on a drop-in basis. Hours of operation for these services are M-R 10 A.M.- 5 P.M., and F 10 A.M.- 3 P.M.
  • Study Skills Workshops – Students can sign up for workshops in advance online at the MyClas website, my.ucsb.edu/clas, or by coming to the Student Resource Building 3210 starting at 9 A.M. on the first day of instruction. (Please see the attached Study Skills Workshops flier for a complete list of workshop titles and times, and for appointment information.)
